One needs to keep in mind that a school should not propagate consumerism n conspicuous behavior. Following fashion would create differences amongst rich and poor students. A school should instill feelings of oneness rather than promoting the widening of the gap between sections in the society. Uniforms help maintain uniformity amongst students and that is what is relevant. Its only in school where we learn how to respect other castes, cultures, religions n races.So, in order to make sure that our future generation is not materialistic and looks above these trivial issues, we should make sure that all such things are not allowed at school level.
